Privacy policy
We collect only what is needed to sell you something and deliver it. No ads, no tracking pixels, no selling of data.
What we collect
- When you buy: your email, name, country and payment details. Payment details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your card.
- Fluency Circle: the French level and city or time zone you enter at checkout, to place you in the right group.
- Waitlist: your email, level and time zone, if you use the waitlist form.
- Emails you send us, and our replies.
The shop itself uses no analytics and no cookies. Stripe's checkout page uses cookies to prevent fraud; see Stripe's privacy policy.
Why (legal basis)
To perform the contract with you (deliver what you bought, run your membership, answer support) and to meet legal obligations such as tax records. We don't send marketing emails unless you joined a list that says so, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.

Some of these are in the United States. Transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
Order records: as long as tax law requires (usually up to 7 years). Membership details: while you are a member and 12 months after. Waitlist entries: until you join or ask us to remove you.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. This covers the EU and UK GDPR, Thailand's PDPA and US state privacy laws. Email bonjour@learn2french.com; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
